Allround Operator

As a process operator, you control and manage the production process in one of our chemical plants, ensuring that output occurs efficiently within the specified standards regarding quality, quantity, environment, and safety. You independently troubleshoot malfunctions and perform process controls. You work in a 5-shift system, stationed in Delfzijl. Your responsibilities include: 

  • Independently resolving process malfunctions. 
  • Conducting fault analyses and analyzing process controls. 
  • Performing logistical tasks related to raw materials, additives, and finished products. 
  • Providing written reports regarding shift handovers, malfunctions, and projects. 
  • Participating in project task forces focusing on safety, environment, quality, and efficiency.

Role and department

The shifts consist of 6 fellow operators with whom you manage the daily operation of the plants. Additionally, you support the departments of projects, technology, maintenance, and QHSE with various tasks in the factory. Naturally, you will receive thorough training for this from our practical instructors and colleagues.

As an allround operator, you are involved in troubleshooting process malfunctions. You conduct analyses of the malfunction and monitor the process. Additionally, you create reports on malfunctions and projects. You can also participate in project groups focusing on safety, environment, and quality.

Your profile

See if a role as an all-round operator suits you! For this position, you need to have completed a course in Operator C, MTS Process Technology, or AOT (level 4) and have an affinity for the chemical industry. Additionally:
